Our Story
Pnnil began in a small Milanese atelier in 2012 with a single sketch: a midnight-blue gown that turned heads at a private gallery opening. That sketch became ten, then a hundred, then an international brand trusted by stylists, celebrities, and women who refuse to blend in. Today we design, weave, cut, and bead every Pnnil piece under one roof—so the original hand-drawn spirit reaches every zipper and stitch.
What We Make
Evening gowns, cocktail dresses, gala jumpsuits, after-party minis, and custom bridal-party looks. From 4 PM receptions to 4 AM after-parties, if the dress code says “remember me,” we have the silhouette.
Design Philosophy
Sculpture first, fabric second. We drape on a live mannequin rather than a flat table, letting gravity sketch the lines. Then we source sustainable satins, crepe de Chine, and up-cycled sequins that follow those lines without forcing them. The result: gowns that look liquid when you stand still and kinetic when you move.
Craftsmanship
Every Pnnil gown passes through 28 pairs of hands: pattern cutters, fiber-dyers, corsetiers, beaders who attach each sequin with a double knot, and quality controllers who stress-test the train under strobe lights. A single dress averages 37 hours of labor—because “it photographs well” is not enough; it must also feel like armor and silk at once.
Sustainability
We produce only two small collections a year plus made-to-order pieces, eliminating dead stock. Fabric off-cuts become hand-beaded clutches; plastic sequins have been banned since 2020. Our carbon-neutral courier delivers each garment in a reusable garment bag stitched from recycled ocean plastic—return it for cleaning credit and we’ll reuse it again.
Size & Fit
Standard sizes 00-26 and free bespoke fit adjustments. We keep a digital pattern of every client, so your next Pnnil order arrives already hemmed to your heel height and bustled to your favorite heel click.
